Lauren’s latest book – Online availability information coming soon!

In Performance Driven Design: 3D Methods of Madness for Green Buildings, Lauren discusses some of the current limitations of multidisciplinary interoperability and how we can overcome them. In order to design greener buildings, there needs to be more streamlined communication between structural, environmental engineers and architects, etc. She presents a number of 3D modeling techniques that aim to provide an easier format for communication through geometry. Specifically, she presents her concept for an information loop and flow that provides a framework for how all parties can interact with a communal model and see results from each discipline more rapidly.
